Yes just something I saw and I'm not in the market right now because I'm trying clear stuff out.For some reason the person didnt put their phone number on the ad (and they need a quick sale)so if someone is interested enough to contact the person and get the phone number I will be more than happy to go check the car out.
(Hope its not an overseas number)

this is probably just a parts car but could you please inspect it and post photos of the areas inspected ?
For $3000 I might have interest or friends interessted, we have a few trailers so we could go and just pick it up - cheaper than transport from company which cost a lot of money.
Thank you very much as I have previously seen photos of your inspection of a Corvette for Forum members. Your photos were good information and you are one of the most appreciated members here.
I do not post much but I am following and reading this forum since 2005, I know the members who I can trust with their judgement.
Thank you for offering this.

I bought my 77 for 2K. But it was more of a friend deal. I did drive it home, but it ran like $%^&.

The car was 100% complete, but needed a ton of TLC. I am working on the frame up resto now. If I read it right, they said no interior. That would take a lot of $$$$ if it really had no interior.

Roger has helped me out tons, as well as countless other members and never asks for anything in return. Good work Roger.

Hmm...that sucks, fake ads getting people's hopes up for a good deal. That's kind of mean actually.

Here is the message I sent him:

Can you please send me pictures of the car? Just curious, you say you drove it last summer but it has no interior. What happened to it?

Here is his reply:

ya i should of been more secific. it has the dash full console and
buckets still. when i bought it she was missing the door pan and seat
backs and t top pads

I answered his reply with:

Can you send me your phone number so I can call you tomorrow? I'm traveling from Cleveland to Sparta, KY on Friday and may be able to stop by sometime Saturday evening on my return trip if I think I'm interested.

Do you have a clear title?

Automatic or Standard Transmission?

Could it be driven to Cleveland?

I have not heard from him since.

Do you still have that email? At the header of that email will be the details about where it came from. You can get the IP address of the sender, and do a quick search to see if it was located in the town you're traveling to. If yes, stay on him, since the ad was pulled it's probably still for sale.

The spelling on the answers you got lead me to believe it was not a real car. Either that or the owner is really BUBBA with that type of grammar.
