Default L88 hood ID

Hey Guys,
I sifted through all 32 pages of "l8,hood" threads and still didn't find out how to ID an OEM hood. I know they are press molded and have a z brace. I've found one on a 72 that appears to have the correct holes in the air cleaner area, emblem holes for the "427", and appears to be press molded. There are no visible external latches, though the threaded plate appears to be present in the pics. Any clues on part # location or expert opions are welcomed. I can send you the pic the man sent me if ya want.

Thanks in advance,
Jay

If the hood is press molded, has the z bar reinforcement, drain hole on in the scoop, and emblem holes it's probably real. GM hoods are heavy when you pick them up. Let us know if this is a real one.
