I was driving around last night and I heard a clunk and it felt like a rock got kicked up hard under the car, and now every time I hit the gas it is making this sound like a baseball card in the spokes of a bike. Anyone have a clue?
Jack up the car, get under the rear, and in front of the rear bell housing, is a piece of metal that connects it to the frame. Between that piece and the frame are a bottom bushing that is rubber with a metal center, and a middle bushing that is just rubber. You have likely lost those.

Not having the bushings will make it make the sound when I hit the gas? That's the only time I hear it.
Does it make the noise with just the engine running in park when you gas it ? If so then it probably is a leak in the exhaust. Might have to lift the hood or look underneath as someone has it make the noise in order to find it.

When you accelerate, yes. If you run VERY smooth, no sudden jumps, then it won't make a sound. But when you accelerate, you hear it. It sounds like it's coming from inside the cabin, right behind you, right? I had this problem, and I thought it was a U joint going bad, so I replaced it. Sound kept on. So then I thought it must be something with the drive shaft. Up inspection of the drive shaft, I found the rear end tongue, with no bushing. Replaced the bushing, and no more sound. That bushing keeps the two ends of metal from banging against each other under any kind of stress.

I got 20 bucks says it's the bushing.
You owe me 20. I didn't have time to respond that it is coming from under the hood as opposed to behind me. I took it to a shop I've had work done before, and they popped the hood to listen, and they believe it is something with the exhaust. I'm taking it back in on Saturday so they can get into it and tell me for sure. I would love to try and figure it out myself, but I have no room, tools, ramps, mechanical knowledge or anything I would need to get a better idea on this one. If anyone in the DFW area wants to help me out, I'd appreciate it, otherwise, I'm off to the shop on Saturday

Sounds like what some have said, something in the exhaust.
