Has anyone found an easy method to tighten the sun visor so it doesn't slowly drop down as you are driving? This is on a 70 convert. Thanks.

The other guys on the forum would know better than I would, but I have been told that they all end up that way (loose). I just replaced mine two weeks ago, and a person I know that works on/sells vettes told me, resist the urge to move them up and down constantly. Eventually they will get loose. Not sure if this info is correct, but it was what I've been told. I replaced mine (visors looked worn) and the hardware, nice and tight now.

I wish I had this problem. My 70 visors are so tight they nearly bend when I try to adjust them. Sorry, no help.

I had the same problem. I took them off, pulled the metal mounting pieces out of the ends, crimped the metal sleeve inside the visor slightly and reinstalled the metal mounting pieces. it worked for me.
