Removing BB Plug Wires
BB owners, I need recommendations for how to remove the plug wires without damaging the boot.
If you still have the plug shields you know that you can't get a removal tool in there.
I didn't use dielectric grease when I installed them so I intend to make up for that but I already had to replace the first boot I tried to remove.

The boots I am using have something like a washer in their end, so if I pull the boot it self it would unplug the wire very easily.

I'm using Accel wires and have no problem removing them. #1 spark plug is a biatch to tighten though.

If they're stuck twist them back & forth until they break free Then pull them off.
Use the dielectric grease next time, it makes life much easier

I used to have a a thin metal remover that was like that on the end but it was only about 5 inches long and curled into a finger loop but it has grown legs.
Looks like it might be kinda tough to get into a few places like #2 and #4 because of the A/C compressor but it beats tearing the boots up.

I access the #2 and #4 by removing the front passenger side wheel, that way its SOOO much easier to remove/install.
