Yes Howard, I did like it A LOT, and I bid accordingly, but unfortunately, it was not enough. Sorry if you had a problem with me bidding on the car. I must say that I am surprised at your comments, but it is still a free country.

No, I do not do business that way. I bid what I was willing to pay and it was not enough. I bought Stan's #2 car last year and I know and appreciate the quality of his work. Thanks for your inquiry.
Rex only found out about the auction when he ran across it him self.
I did not advertise that my car was for sale. He asked about a price, and I told him roughly what I wanted( not the reserve). Then I advised him that if he was interested in the car, he should bid on it as I WOULD NOT end the auction before I saw what interest was out there.
So he did just that. His bid was not enough to buy my car, and that is where it ends.
One thing about me is that even though I have many aquaintances such as Rex, I dont mix business with that. There was no deal to be had on my car, and even though he is the owner of my last car, the only leverage he would have on the sale of my car would be a trade that involved my old car. Nothing more, nothing less.
