I really want to change the center gauge cluster with something that looks different. I stumbled upon this new gauge company and saw that they make some very interesting cost effective products.
These look like they will fit in the factory bezel. I think this will be a nice addition because I can always change the gauge color to the aftermarket radio install. They all come with sending units and I could replace the clock with an additional 5th gauge.
I want to do:
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Water Temp
Vacum
Amp Volt
The question is will they fit in the factory bezel or do I have to custom make one to fit?
They are 2 1/16th inch gauge or 52 mm diameter.
I called the company up and the sending unit is a 1/8 mpt.
Let me know if this will be compatible to my engine 383 stroker since it is an old style engine.
Here is a video to show what they can do, tell me what you think?:

You should check the Fuel Guage specs before you buy. You Corvette probably has a 90 ohm sender in the tank. In my searches, only Siemens VDO have a Fuel Gauge to suit a 90 ohm sender. Different story if you intend changing the sender in the tank when you install your new gauges. Here's how mine looks.
I am going to order the gauges today. I decided to replace the Spedo and Tach also from www.speedhut.com. They make real high quality glow gauges like DEFI but more custom.
The gauges will be all black with white numbers and a red needle during the day. At night they will have blue numbers with a red neddle and a black background. They will look like these at night. These were in a 65 cobra.
I will have them do custom designs also. They are going to put the Vette flag in each gauge. All of the gauges with custom colors and emblems will be around $500.

Not sure where you got that information, almost every gauge mfr. under the sun makes a 0-90 ohm fuel gauge... at the very least as you mention VDO, but also Autometer, Stewart Warner, Dakota digital the list goes on...
Ive used SW, VDO and Autometer all on factory senders with no problems. you do have to make sure you get the 0-90 ohm gauge though.
I'm working with Speed Hut on gauges for my car right now. Very cool gauges with great customer service. I'll post up a pic when I get back on my main computer.
