Default IT's ALIVE.......!!!!!!

After sitting for 1.5 years, the wife (yes she helped) and I worked the last two weekends and started the '81 up yesterday.

Took a couple of tries: found that the 7 pin ignition module with about 10 hours of run time on it, died sitting on the shelf for 1.5 years.
After replacing that and putting the distributor in correctly, the engine lite-up.

I had installed Hooker sidepipes on it and currently have no mufflers...OMG!!!!!...is that ever LOUD in the garage. It is still sitting on jackstands...waiting for Max Flow muffers to arrive, but oh what a feel'n to have that engine run once again.

I had rebuilt the einge and then lost interest in the car and other than use a drill to turn the oil pump for 10 minutes every month or so and turn the engine over by hand....it just sat and gathered dust in the garage. Had only one small fuel leak at the fuel pump that required a bit more wrenching on it.

Did I mention how LOUD those sidepipes are...OMG!!!!

Just sharing...
