Silly question about kickdown and carb
Hi all,
I have a 350/300HP AT 1970
Is there meant to be a kickdown/detent cable/linkage running from the transmission to the carb? My car doesn't have one and I didn't think there is meant to be one but I was talking to someone today and they thought there should be one?

No kickdown cable on a stock TH400.
There is an electric kickdown switch on the transmission about half way down the diver's side.
