I'd like to see more on the ignition system. I took his statement "Since this engine is a runner, there is spark ignition" that it has points, etc. I could see it working the same as a model airplane engine (for those that remember the .049's) but the size of a miniature working distributor is amazing! Anyway...way cool and thanks for sharing!
There's another guy (forget his name and company at the moment) who's made an engine very similar to this as well as a V-12. I fly R/C airplanes and the biggest R/C show in the north east is held at the Westchester County Center, in White Plains, N.Y. every February. He had these running engines at least 15 years ago and had them in different vehicles from a street rod to a monster truck. It was quite amazing!
