When you guys store your vettes for the winter do you add anything to your gas tank (fuel additive) to keep the fuel from going bad.
They tell you to add something to your lawn mowers why not your vette. Just courious
Yes, I add stabilizer and run the car for a few minutes (up to 10 minutes) to let the fuel run thru the system, shut it off and forget it for the winter.

always fill he tank and change the oil in My c_5. I will do the same with the C-3. In also put a few bags with mouth ***** in the engine bay to keep the mice out. I also go to the marine and get 7 doller ca of Starbrite NO DAMP dehumidifer. I put in in a pan or bucket because it traps so much water.
I add a fuel stabilizer, never fill the tank, (whatever is in it), change the oil, hook up a battery tender, park it on a carpet, throw on the car cover, and never start it until spring. But I do have a heated garage and the garage temp is never set below 50F.
Do fill out your profile! I think the answer depends on where you live - in my location it rarely gets down to 32 so usually the only month I can't drive is wintery January where there is at least one inch of snow on the ground. Don't do a thing. Battery is fine.

Ditto. Also change the oil, remove one or both battery cables and hook up a battery tender, put a small container of mothballs inside, put the top up, and put on the car cover.

I live in New Jersey, and I don't do a thing. I just don't drive it when there is salt or snow on the rode. I think last year, I didn't go more than 2 weeks without driving the car.
Like another poster said, it really depends on where you live.
