Window Tint?

Could you post some pics of wondow tinted C3's? preferably white, but I love looking at the cars too much to actually limmit them to just light colors, and if you know the percentage of tint please share

Miles, unless you're running historic plates be very careful about tinting your windows. Tint is part of the Missouri vehicle inspection.

I think 35% is the new limit in Missouri. If you know the inspection shop you can get lower but that won't matter if you get pulled over for it.

I know in Illinois they can nail you for anything over stock tinting. The only time it really gets enforced though is if they want to discuss something else. (or you run into a real hose head)

35% is the limit on front door glass. You can go darker on all rear windows.

Well that's what I was thinking but C3s don't have rear window glass and you'll get pulled over if the actual rear glass is any darker than limit. As far as the HWY Patrol is concerned the driver, passenger, and front and rear glass is for vision / safety and must not be darker than the limit.

Essentially this means that in a C3 in Missouri the three windows getting tint need to be 35% or lighter...just to avoid tickets from authorities.

I was thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of %10 I was wondering what it looked like on a light colored C3

So long as the doors are closed, windows are closed, tops are on, and no direct sunlight it'll look like completely black windows on a white car.
