Carb Fuel (dumb question) fitting question
I know this qualifies as a dumb question - but since its on the heels of a dumb action it all fits together pretty well.
I removed the stock carb from my 80 vette. At some point in the past (before me) the metal fuel line must have broken, because the fuel fitting is clamped on to a piece of rubber fuel line. I removed the fitting from this rubber line to exam it. The wife called, the kids came running by, my dog ate my homework and somewhere in there I lost the fitting.
I need to order a new one, but have no idea what size it is? Does anyone know? Has anyone recently got one and if so from where? (Also, I am assuming the fitting to the pump is the same size as to the carb inlet, should I decide to buy a new flexible line and do away with the rubber hose arraingment.) Thanks.

For safety concerns, I would go back to the original steel line from the pump to the carb. The replacement line will have the fittings on it. Check your area for a shop which sells Quadra-Jet small parts. They should have the fuel line fitting.
