Future World for C3 People?
Wonder what impact the economic melt down will cause? Are our Corvette vendors starting to be impacted. Probably they'll see some economic down turn. Let's hope they can weather the storm. They've done a great service to the restorer/renewer C3 enthusiast. It's really great I can buy more new parts for my 68 and 70 now, than I could in the early 80's.
Maybe one good thing will be that prices for the 60's and early 70 "muscle cars" will return to more realistic levels. Maybe I can still be able to afford that 69 Chevelle SS after all!

Maybe so...but the real question is will we all be able to afford the gas, once all this bailout (fiat) money gets into the system.

Buy your parts now. Several will go under by spring. The Chinese economy is going down.

Id rather our expensive old cars werent any more affordable. They will be back, anyway.
I had zero problems buying parts for my C3s in the 80s, so I dont see any oncoming C3 doom and gloom.
This will pass.

I do see more sales and advertisements with discounts and free shipping than I had seen before.

Latest trend in IT is that India is outsourcing to Mexico now to take advantage of being in the same time zone.
