Default Front Bumper Modification?

Has anyone made a modification to their front fiberglass bumper? I'm interested in the look of the Moray GT.

Now I'm just talking about the grille. I'm not interested in the pointiness. I know there's no way I'm the first to want to do this, but I couldn't find anyone in a search.

Also, anyone know of a good fiberglass worker near Atlanta?

Like I said, I'm not looking for the pointedness, which is much more pronounced on the Moray GT, I'm looking for the grill. I'm going to assume you haven't done this.

Interesting, I'll give it a try, though it looks like not too many people are over there. Hopefully someone can chime in here as well.

Could you reference or link this Moray GT? Never heard of it. The picture is of a Motion/Maco by Silva style nose.

You probably could've done a google search yourself.

Vette Magazine http://www.vetteweb.com/features/vem...tte/index.html

Hemmings.com http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/..._feature8.html

Thank you for trying to bust my *****, as usual. Please let me know if you have done this modification. If not, thank you for visiting my thread.

Thats pretty good, I didn't know you could open it up fully like that, I thought it needed some supports at least. I'm looking for someone who's added a front grill, something with a midyear style.

Here's how mine looked after I opened it up.

It started as a fiberglass '76, complete with the bumperettes. I cut the license plate area and bumperettes out and molded it in, then stretched a piece of black plastic screen over the opening. I modified the turn siginal/parking lights and moved them up into the bumper face.

Here is a pic of a chrome bar grill that was in a thread a while back:

Here's a link to the thread:

There's a couple other examples in the thread, I think.....
