What should i use to recoat the frame while the body is still on it? The frame is a rust free frame from a 70. I dont want to damage it by putting something on it that will atract moisture.
Would anyone suggest undercoating spray? This is what it had on it and it seemed to have held up really good.
basically the whole underside was undercoated.
what is opinions on redoing it this way?

thank you,
I woudn't recommend undercoating spray. I bought a 73 replacement frame for my 72 that was in excellent condition - except for the areas that had undercoating on them. There was light pitting on the metal under the undercoating suggesting that the coating allowed water to penetrate and not evaporate. I sandblasted the frame - not practical with the body on - and coated it with RustBullet. Others like POR-15, you can decide for yourself. It's important to coat the inside of the frame as well. Some people have sprayed POR inside the frame - I consider that effort to be too dangerous to one's health. I'm going to use chain saw chain oil - it is paraffin based and will stick well to the metal surfaces.
