Center console for an 81???

Ok, so i got this 81 for a winter project and I have a piece of rubber that sits arounf the emergency brake. Does anyone sell a hard version of this that can be used as a center console???

Do you really want a hard version? I have the same arm rest E-brake cover and I find that it being soft is very easy on the arm.

what i really want is a center console that i can keep things in. I would put some type of pad or cover on it.

i haven't seen such a thing. sadly, the '81 (hell, all c3's) have an afterthought interior. if you want such a thing, you will probably have to fab it yourself.

It's not big enough and there's too much crap under it, that's why you have an extra strorage compartment behind the seat.

O well it was just a thought, and would of been nice. I like this car so far. I was suprised with the way it rides and handles. Its not my C-5 but better than the first Vette I had an 84. loved the crossfire engine but the ride in that car was so bad.
