Default gmpp Serpentine/upper rad. hose issue

I am trying to finish up getting my motor back in my 75. I have converted to the GMPP Serpentine and the Dewitt rad and electric fan setup. I have overcome most of the issues with alot of help from the folks here that have already posted problems and solutions. My last issue is trying to find a upper radiator hose that will work, my lower hose is fine. Does anyone have a number or make model that will work, any help would be great.

I used a universal corrugated rubber hose and went around the back of the alternator.

I don't know of a specific part number for an upper hose to go in front of the alt and over to the radiator.

Default Hose

Do you have a picture by chance, like to see what that looks like. I will make a trip to the autoparts place today and see if I can find one of those hoses. I was hoping to use a regular hose but not much luck on that route so far.

Here is a pic of the upper hose I am using. It flows just fine for the system. I can't determine it's exact length unless I remove it but a rough measurement showed it to be between 28" and 29" long.

Try looking at stores like Oreilly, Autozone, Advance, Napa...and other national style or local parts stores.

You could use a TPI t-stat housing and an '89 IROC upper hose. Look at TPI conversion pics.

Some great suggestions guys, once again thanks for all the help. I should have the car running again in the next day or so and I can not wait.

I bought one of the corregated metal tubes also. Mine comes out of the radiator, makes a 90 degree turn, runs parallel to the face of the engine, makes another 90 degree turn into the thermostate housing. The tube goes over the top of the serpentine belt.

I used a billet specialties thermostat housing (o-ring, variable position). I used a die grinder to open up the insides of the thermostate housing, since the billet specialites housing is really restricted on the inside.
