I've got both a hard copy of the 78 AIM and the new Wilcox electronic version but neither show the Left side spark plug wire routing referenced on UPC 6Y sheet 5. The UPC 6Y jumps from page 3 to page 5 but than the page sequence does not show a break, running from 352 through 353. Page 354 starts UPC 7.

I'm curious if this is a flaw in the AIM since 1977 or am I missing something here?

Would the diagram in my '77 manual be the same for the '78 or would there be differences?

I've looked through my 78' AIM a hundred times and never found it either. I even went through it page by page and made an index.....no left side wires. I have a 75' AIM also, and it has the left and right on the same sheet. The view of the right side in the 75' looks the same as the right side in the 78'. So the 75' (or77') AIM should be good for the 78'

Here's the 75'

Tom,

This page never was in the 78 AIM. However, the 79 book has it. When the books are revised again we will insert this page.

Let me know if this is what you are looking for. The 79 route was the same as the 78. Email me at Willcoxcustomerservice@willcoxcorvette.c om and I can send you a full size copy of this page. 6Y4

Willcox

Thanks all. I don't know why I did not think to check the 79 AIM...I've got it sitting right here. Anyway...that'll help future 78 AIMers

Hey Wilcox...you don't by any chance carry those wire retainers...like # 372540?
