Recently got a 73 LS4 Coupe. Numbers decode to a July build date. VIN is 31945. I know there were only 4,412 454's built that year. Is there anyway to find the highest VIN or last produced?
Your trim tag date code should be L02 which means the body was finished on July 2, 1973 a Monday. The car probably was completed and off the assembly lin on the next day.

The highest VIN that I am aware of with the LS4 is 34461. That would be the third from the last.

I had a 73 LS4 car that was built on the last day of production for the 73, I can't remember the VIN #, but I want to say that it was 30 from the end. FYI - Coupe, TH400, Blue-Green metallic with light saddle, Loaded including rear window defog. Was also ordered with a 3.08 gear.
