ive been interested in these for awile. i just dont understand how to properly connect a two connector bulb into my three connector plug. is that third leg not needed with these bulbs? colin75
I just couldn't do it. I took it back to normal. I spliced the correct loop type connector . Dropped one bulb. So I will complete the left. Gotta buy a new rotory file to create clearance for the connector in the back of the mount.
Scott. It appears you are correct. Now that one is dead I'll see if I have skills soldering.
That way should work too, you should also be able to just unsolder the screw on tabs and solder the spade connectors on.
exactly the way I install mine. uses the OE headlite socket with out intermediary connectors. I also cut a notch in the headlight bucket to make the light attach in a certain direction with the 1/2 round filaments to the outside. Then just put it back together... and instant daylight......

Well its done on the left. Im waiting for my eyesight to return. Dont look into the light DUH......I was unable to orient mine as you directed Ironcross, due to the way it orients into the bucket. It has a notch on mine and on the bulb to match and it makes it align so the inside element is vertical. But as you said instant daylight
I think I just may stay with one regular bright and one "blinder" for now. There only 10 bucks a pop but 10 to ship. So it would end up costing 50 total because of my carelessness. I'll wait a week and see if I want another. BTW nice 62

I cut a notch in the headlight bucket to match the position I wanted the filament to be in. I used a hack sat to make the 2 cuts and a pair of pliers to bend it in so it appears to be like the 3 original notches used to line the OE bulb but placed to position the 4537 how I wanted.
You should also be prepared to answer some unique questions as hardly no one knows what they are. I watch and smile at the comments. It`s fun too...
Bright, huh...
i told you so....wait until you get the other one in.
Just on high. You coulds never drive with those as a standard light. Also on the regular lights you have 3 wires. The regular lights actually get brighter when you turn on the brights

Thats what I was thinking you were just doing the high beams but with some of the posts talking about 3 wires I wasnt sure.
