Question about a hood.....

Since we're on the subject of hoods. Will a big block or L-88 hood fit on my 82? If I can't get the injection squared away, I have a mild street 454 and Th400 ready to go in. (I'm basically just looking for an excuse) I know for a fact the hood won't close with the big block, however. Will the earlier stlye hood fit my front end, or do I have to build something?

yes and no, the original L-88 hood will not, but ecklers and some other suppliers sell l88 style hoods that fit the 80-82. cheers
