STS Baffle Cutout Modification
So I'm here in engineering school at University of Akron, and basically all I have on my mind is making things better. I've got this idea to remove the cap on my STS baffles and replace it with some sort of butterfly valve welded in place of it acting as a cutout valve. I'd like to a very small rod through the center tube section of the baffle and connect it to a type of lever at the back of the baffle that you can reach in and open from the end of the sidepipe, effectively giving you open pipes. I don't really need it for horsepower reasons, just to for fun. I haven't really put much thought into it or come up with any definite plans, but I'm just curious what you guys think. Has anyone else come out with an idea for cutouts with sidepipes?
