Default Weather Stripping

Does anyone have a good source for weather stripping for a 71 t-top vette. The prospects of spending $500 on rubber stinks.

Metro Super Soft Weatherstrip. http://metrommp.com. Check on eBay, there is a Corvette parts vendor that sells it at discounted pricing. I bought the T-Top weatherstrip and it was an exact fit. Also check Wilcox and Doc Rebuild. I used Doc Rebuild for the doors, windows and hood and it was an excellent fit too. Rubber felt a little stiffer than the Metro though.

I got a set for my 69 vert from Atlanta Corvette (The Last Detail). very soft, fit great. When I get there with the 74 Coupe I'll go back to them

Here is a link to our kit on the forum special side.

http://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=25493

This kit is USA made by CRC! It is not imported, and is skinned as original.

The windshield pillar is correct with the lower extension with the correct metal insert bonded in to it.

It is not made from a silica based rubber either, it is skinned as original.
