Brake Fluid Leak
Moved my 75 vette out of the garage to work on my sons 90 vette yesterday. Noticed a puddle of brake fluid where the right front tire was. Found a leaking brake caliper. Can someone give pros and cons to rebuilding calipers as opposed to replacing them, other than just the time factor. Thanks for any suggestions.

If you already have stainless sleeved calipers, you can rebuild them for less than half the cost, even if you upgrade to O-ring pistons.
If you don't have stainless sleeved calipers, just get new ones. Again, I prefer the O-ring style and the VB&P discount makes these very attractive.
Best case. If you have O-ring pistons and stainless sleeved calipers already, the rebuild kit is dirt cheep and very easy to do.

I just rebuilt my right front caliper, cost 15.00 for the kit and brake fluid. I thought of replacing the caliper but I really didn't want to do it unless I could replace both fronts at the same time.
