Default Coupe vs Vert doors

Can someone tell me what the difference is between the doors ona coupe and vert. I am looking to buy a 71 vert with no doors, I have a set of 69 doors that came off a coupe. I know the glass is different but not sure about everything else.

Thanks,
Jeff

Some convertibles have additional receivers on the doors which fit male reinforcements on the door lock posts.

Yes, they do. Here is the female end. But these can be added to coupe doors.

Physically all C3 doors interchange. '68 is by itself with the opener. 69-72 coupe are the same (and 69 vert), 70-72 convertible are the same, 73-77 coupe are the same, 73-75 vert are the same, 78-82 are the same. Differences: Vert glass is different than coupe glass. 68-early 69 has 1 style of window regulator than everything else. A vert door can be used on a coupe with no mods. A coupe door can be used on a 69 vert (68-69 used brass wedges) or can be used on a 70-75 vert if you add the weld-on recess and wedge-available from Paragon. 73 started side impact bars, but 69-77 coupe doors are all basically the same. 78-82 have different latch and lock rods, this is driven by the door panel. So in the broadest sense 68, 69-77 coupe (and 69 vert), 70-75 vert, and 78-82 are the divisions. Hope that helps.
