Default 74 Tail Light Question

One of my original plastic back up lights well... exploded recently due to sun damage and cracks. I have a feeling that the rest aren't long for this world too. What model years will fit these lights? I saw a pair of 84-89 supposedly and was wondering if they would fit for them. The bumper is for that model year if that makes a difference.

Not looking for absolutely perfect fit, but will other model years work for this job with some slight modding? Thanks.

Hi,

You are correct 1974 tail lights are by themselves. They bolt from behind instead of two screws through the front. You maybe able to convert it to the later style but not for sure.

Thanks,

They are one-year only as are the bumper braces.

They are one-piece units. The lens is not separate. The bulb goes in from the back.

Lol The old one that had broken is currently being glued back together. Even if it looks horrible it will make me feel a little better.. But by all means if you're that desperate for a new one
