Default My New C3

hello everyone, just picked up my new C3 74 454 Vert this past weekend. My updated avatar shows it on the trailer right before I left for home. I found it here on the forum, and what a find it is, fully documented with factory build sheet (in tack) and original bill of sale, etc., etc., everything but the window sticker. Also just over 10,000 original miles on the car. The Vert does need bumpers, and some other minor things, (we all know how that goes). Has been in the same family for the 34 years of existence, I really lucked out. Out of all the Vettes I have owned, this is my first BB, something that I have always wanted.
I have been fortunate enough to have some Vettes over the years, this is #12, having had 1 C2, 9 C3's 5 of which (this one included) have been Vert's, 1 C4, 1 C5.
I plan to do a little at a time, whatever it needs. The main thing is that I am back in a Vette again, I am a happy man....

I also want to thank Tom, the previous owner, a first class guy, who gave me a wealth of info on the history of this Vert, from when his dad ordered the car. Enjoyed meeting him and Tony, who stored the 74 for Tom. Thank you guys again....Tom
I guess because we have the same name, it was meant to be.

Yo Tom - Congrats on the BB Vert! Looks like your time table got moved up.

So, is she all comfy & safe in your garage? I'll have to pay a visit soon!

Good luck with her my friend!

A 74 big block with only 10,000 miles is a nice find. Congratulations

Go to windowstickers.com they make nice repro window stickers. Got one for my 68 and it's real nice for display.

I don't think so. They had the cowl induction hoods like the small block cars.

Very nice vert

As CA-Legal-Vette states below, he is right, the only difference on the hood is the "454" emblems on the hood.
