I sure wish I had jumped in when I was your age. Very nice car and congratulations. Many many years of fun ahead for you and you started, in my humble opinion, with a great year and a great looking 69. Several forum members here own 69's and you are wise to soak up the knowledge, we can all learn here. If you learn something about your car be sure to share it as well and thanks for sharing the pictures.
My wife is a huge blue fan.
That is a great looking car! We love pics, as you know by now. Smart move buying one at 24. Take that from a guy who waited until he was 38 to buy his. You may want to look into some ignition shielding to cover those wires. Your engine area is very clean, and besides for headers (ok) , it looks like you are trying to stay factory. The covers give such a nice look to the engine bay for a little money. Thanks for your service!

I was going to say the same thing. Invest a couple bucks on the ignition shielding "box" and lid + 2 supports (I bought one used on ebay for one of my '69s for $45) and it will make a lot of cosmetic difference under the hood.
Car looks very nice. Pretty blue. A couple great investments for the new '69 owner are the 1969 Corvette guidebook by Rick Bizocco and the NCRS judging manual for 68-69.
nice car, i got my 1st vet at 24 also. it was a 70 454 vert. just dont make the same mistake i made. i sold it and regretted it evere since. good luck, nutsy.
