Default ecklers order

i placed an order in mid august. 2 new sideglass, some dash parts, hood latches ,pitman arm. few other little things like control arm bushs. i requested a shipping quote before they send ....so here we are almost january and still not even a quote. i email them every month to ask how much longer and all i ever get is the standard answer of approx 1 more month.. one email they say they are waiting on the bush,s then the next its the dash part. it always changes. do you think this is right ? how long have you waited?

I've ordered many parts from Ecklers and never had a problem. I wouldn't rely on emails, though, Something that important needs a direct phone call to them. When your speaking directly to a person with your problem, it forces the customer service person to have ownership of the problem.

When I had my motor out last year, I ordered I say 90% of my parts from them. Replaced all the things while the motor was out and easy for me to get to. It was delivered within the time frame they said it would be. ( 1 week to week and a half. ) had wrong parts delivered ( my mistake ) called them up and they sent me the right one and I sent the wrong ones back. Aside from wrong parts and bad ones, their customer service was good. Didn't email, just talk to a real person. Tony

Some items have been out of stock for almost a year....at every vendor.

What you have to keep in mind is that every vendor receives and sells parts from every other vendor. Odds are that if one is out od stock all of them are out of stock.

Name a vendor and I'll gaurantee that I've gotten a part from them in another vendors box.

As a side note...PM forum member BeeGee?? He works at Ecklers and may be able to look into it for you.

I have recently bought a bunch of little things from Ecklers and a wiring harness. They matched a competitors price on the harness without any hassle, and everything was delivered in a timely fashion. I will definitely buy from them again. I did, however, call them to get the price match, so I'm thinking a little phone work would get this worked out. Best of luck.
