Default Moved to Jupiter Florida

Well after weeks of getting things together at my NJ house. I`m finally here in Jupiter! This is definitly a convertible town. I sold my 67 L71 Coupe and am looking for a Nice 68-72 Convertible. Always been a C2 guy but am looking for something different. After owning a 65 & 66 Small Block and then the 67 Monster BB I seem to be leaning towards a BB. Any good deals out there in South Florida. Or any projects cars with BB does not have to be a #`s car.Just a nice driver with excellent paint! 75 deg. outside today in NJ 38 deg!

Alright, let's update that personnel data to reflect where you are so if you mention cruising with the top down people will not think you are nuts! I enjoyed a top down cruise on the last day of 2008!

Hi Mark,

Good to hear that the moving went well, and you came to FL.
I hope you find a nice c3 BB convertible soon.

Regarding convertible weather......I have to wait 3 mounts until I fire up my 69 :-(

And good luck with your new job.

Best Regards,
John

Have fun in sunny Florida.

My folks live in Hobe Sound, a sister in Jupiter Farms, brother in Palm Beach Gardens and another brother in Abacoa.

You're gonna like it there.

I live on Neptune Rd. Orange Park, not Jupiter.....

welcome to the land of pleasant living.....don't let them tell you about a/c weather that is all you take your shirt off and wow all the gals, shorts are the uniform of the day,.....I suppose you are retarred now, so you gotta learn how to take all day to do nuttin'.....get up at 9-10 am....eat brunch, snooze from 3-4 then turn on the news so you can toss your shoe at the commentator.....

and run around with your top down in summer....

which is now 365/year......

as for the car, this is a state where the business rules/laws/enforcement are totally lacking, and the car business here is full of crooks/theives.....you have virtually NO legal recourse against most anyone....

You need make sure your purchase is not full of rust, either yankee or beach salt air...just as bad....

I presume you know how to check and can cover your own self on that score, but just because it's florida don't mean crap about rust, just as bad as yankee cars....

obviously NEVER buy from any stealer....NONE not down here, or anywhere I ever heard of for that matter....

What is the cost of house insurance for hurricanes in Florida. Say a $350,000 appraised value.

Well now that your in jupiter, if you ever need a good mechanic or just full service gas services go to apex texaco off US 1, across the street from rinaldi's next to PA bar-B-Q. Its the only full service gas station around. Its actually in Tequesta, but I consider the two places the same.

Check out Eisman's (I hope I spelled that correctly). Specializes in Corvettes, well known in the area. Also, Abacoa has a town center cruise in the 1st Saturday of the month. You will see 300-400 cars of all shapes and makes. Lots of Vettes. I belonged to the Stuart Corvette Club for a while, there may be one in Jupiter/Tequesta too. Good luck in the new area.

My ex brother and sister in law live in Jupiter Farms. Great place to live. Lucky you. Next time you want some good food, look up Brass Wing Pub and you will get some of the best chicken wings you have ever sank your teeth into. They are in Jupiter or just to the south of it but can't remember the road they are on. Geez, I miss that place.
