Need Help on Date Code for '73 A/C Compressor
Can someone tell me for sure where the date code is located on the 1973 - 454 - LS4 A-6 A/C Compressor and how it is stamped?
I was told it is on the back head plate and it is a 6 digit number --- example: 032233 --- which would translate to: 03= March ... 22= 22nd day of March .... 3= 1973 ... and last 3= the shift it was built on -------------- is this correct or is it date coded a different way. I have the correct foil decal for the LS4. ---- you can email me at: bht@ak.net
