namvet, not sure if you got my pm(s) about the spring or if you found one. The one I have is a 330 lb and that was 30 more then the stock spring. Anyway I will post the pics in the for sale section if you still have an interest let me know.
The 80-82s had a composite spring for the standard rear suspension and the 9 leaf 2.5inch wide steel spring for the heavy duty FE7 "Gymkhana" rear option.
I do know that Duntov Corvette online lists the 9 leaf as 260lbs.
I would guess then the OEM composite is lower than this, probably not by much.
Aftermarket TRW style replacements start at 340lb and go up. Its the lowest you can get with that style. Beware of the ride height issue though with these TRW style springs. Youll need much longer end spring bolts.
If you go with the VBP style rear spring, you can get them down to 300lbs. and there is no reported ride height issues.
