Default Thank you Durango-Boy

I have noticed a recent thread about DB and was surprised he had some issues in this forum as I had a recent amazing experience with him.

Back in October I mailed him a custom Hydrobooster bracket and asked him if the part would fit my 79. I also did include a $ 5.00 check for mailing back the part to me.
While sending back the bracket he told me he had found a blank check bearing my name stuck to the back of the complete check I mailed to him.

It turned out this was the missing blank check I had accidentally torn out along with the one I wrote for him..... I could have my entire bank acct wiped out by a dishonest person, but he didn't use it and simply mailed it back with the bracket

HATS OFF to Matt for his integrity and selflessness to help me.

I just hope the people who seem to enjoy bashing helpful others will read this and understand Matt's true intentions here on this great forum with great friends

Michael

Yeah Matts a good guy, he just had a few unfortunate circumstances that got him in some hot water. I spoke with him and he's working hard to make things right. I also feel bad for Reds too as he was greatly affected by these circumstances but I'm pretty confident all will be resolved shortly.

Nothing as helpful and friendly as trying to pass off cheap Chinese’s knock off parts as quality custom pieces.

I do not know the reasons why he was banned but I always enjoyed his contributions. I hope the Forum welcomes him back soon.

All I can speak to regarding my dealings with Matt is that they have been straight up and in a business manner. He has my support.

He's been fair and helped upgrade my car with a hydroboost unit and the CS alternator swap. We've had discussions regarding radios and other sub-systems he has information on. We identified some minor issues in some of his data, which he took upon himself to correct. He could have taken any number of avenues away from integrity yet he doesn't strike me that way.

Until I read or see evidence of anything egregious he's done, I'll reserve judgement to our prior dealings. He's done right, by me.

I can say that when i first joined the forum, DB was the first to welcome me aboard. I don't really know him,but he does seem to be
widely appreciated here.
It would really be nice if the moderators could leave this thread open
so that Matt could give us the TRUTH on what happened, and then we could all move on.
Stuff like this can really ruin a reputation.
So, DEAL OR NO DEAL?
Tony.

Let's just leave what ever happened alone and let the two persons involved just sort things out. Then get on with life.

If you call someone who essentially stole money a stand up guy, you live in a pretty twisted world.
