Default Need help identifying this part please

I bought a bunch of stuff for my c2 and this was also included. I cannot figure out what it is. As I understand it came off of a 72.

Thank you in advance.

I might be wrong but it looks like a hood release bracket.

Yep that's a chrome lower hood release bracket. Technically the uppers are for release, and that one will have a spring tower with a conical top screwed into the threaded hole.

Do you have both?

I don't have both, but also in the stuff I found some, what woud appear to be chromed original hinges and support. All seem to be in good shape with chrome good too. The slash guards on all the spindles are chromed factory pieces too. I bought the entire front an rear suspension. the rear leaf is a TRW 355# fiberglass unit. I plan on selling some of it, but I want to inspect it all first and sell what I will not use on my 64.
