Default Stingray Front Fender Emblems Received

Here are the stingray front fender emblems for my 1974. They will replace the "Stingray" script emblems. Very nice!

Paul I like those a lot. Were they pre-made or did you have them made for your application?

Very and beautiful workmanship. Can't wait to see how they look on the Vette. I'd like to see more of these.
Here's one on a wildly modified vette from 2 summers ago you might like also.

DB,
The link shows the story. He ceased production some time ago for quality control reasons/problems on the chroming side but I tracked him down and he had a good pair left.

Sickfish? To each his/her own.

I've seen something similar on EBay but it doesn't cover the "Stingray" stud holes.

I would not want to see more of a car like that. Tacky at best.

Exactly. You can't just post a small part of the tacky car, lets see the whole thing!

Those are pretty slick emblems, but I dunno, I kinda like my Stingray script.. I might have to find another place on the exterior or maybe interior for those new ones.

it is no more tackier than replacing the stingray script with that chrome stingray, not my cup of tea...sorry.....

I like the design of the emblem alone, but not attached to the car.

To me it's no different than slapping on a set of chrome lady trucker emblems. Especially since our cars have the mako shark body style...which no where resembles a stingray and regardless what script GM put on the cars originally.

Those "might" look more at home on the C2's.

Thanks for the ayes and nays. Interesting points of view. And of course we all have differing tastes. That is to be expected.

There must be some interest or just plain curiousity out there: this thread has 431 views.

The set I have are zinc/chrome but problems arose at some point re the plating process. Thus production was halted. They are under development now using a poured and polished alloy. I do not know how that is going but if you PM me I can put you in touch with the gentleman who is noted in the Corvette Enthusiast article cited above.

I bought a set of those about three year's ago. The wife found them at Carlisle, she liked them so I bought them. I wasn't all that crazy about them. Well after we got home, I put them away and forgot about them. One day I found them and told her I was going to put them on. Well now she doesn't want me to put them on, she says she has changed her mind. I have seen them put on valve cover's. I don't know what I am going to do with them.
