Default '78 Seat Replacement

Is it possible to replace stock seats in a standard '78 Anniversary Edition with '78 Pace Car seats ? Are mounting brackets compatible ? Will they fit in nicely ? Thanks for help.

Actually, the Pace Car style seeat will fit all C3's. I have them in my 76 & will have them in my 69 soon! For me, the Pace Car and later seats are a ton more comfortable.

Maybe an age thing HAHAHAHA

Yeah, I was going to suggest that you make sure you realize that all C3 seats after 78 were the same as the 78 Pace Car seats, so don't just limit your search for PC seats. For some reason people complain about those seats, but in my 79 I love the stock seats and find them to be plenty comfortable.

Just don't buy the later C3 power seats.

Yep, they will fit fine direct bolt in.

Just swaped "out" the 78 pace car seats in my 76 for the correct 76buckets with new leather etc.

Just thought the newer seats looked wrong in a 76.

Why not re-cover your factory seats if they are worn out. I think 78non-pace car seats look better and wear better to.

The seat tracks are different so make sure you get the Pace Car or the 79-82 seat tracks for those seats.
