[B]I contacted Wilcox about a spoiler for my 77 Corvette. Here is their reply.......
You would actually want to find a urethane rear spoiler. It would have to be a good used one or an original. The urethane fits the rear of the car better than the stiff fiberglass.
So, I`m looking for a good used one if anyone knows of one for sale./B]
If you don't have your heart set on the "Pace Car" spoiler you can get a rear bumper witha spoiler already on it/built into it. The spoiler is not as high and it doesn't look like an "add-on"
Hey Easy Mike, I was just down your way last week. Picked up a youngster at Caverna Hospital. Drove them back to Kosair's in Louisville.
I agree that the urethane spoilers fit tighter, but does it really matter to you. I put fiberglass pacecar spoilers on my car and am really happy with the look. It's not perfect as you can see some minor gaps with the fit, but it's close enough for me. Here are some pics of mine to help you decide. So I guess it comes down to what you are really looking for.
Thanks for the info guys.....always appreciated. I have enjoyed viewing & reading all the interesting articles here. This is my first Corvette and have had a lot of fun with it in the short time I`ve owned it.
I have a fiberglass one on my 78'. Take some time and file it a bit to get a better fit before painting. Hardest part is drilling the first mounting hole through the body (take a deep breath!).
Awesome '76! How 'bout more pics?? I guess us '76 lovers are few and far in between.

Thanks for the kudos. We don't get a lot of respect do we? I love all the C3s . . . the 76's may not have a lot of collectability value, but they still look great. From the thumbs-ups I get, I don't think most people really care.
Here is another favorite pic of mine and also a video I did that has many shots . . .
