80-82 Gaps?

80-82 Gaps?
I'm going for my second look at an 81 this weekend. The gaps at the top of the door and the front of the hood seemed a little big to me at first glance. Could some of you guys post some pics of how yours look.

Here are two shots of my '82. The body, hood, door lines and even the headlight doors line up pretty good. The exception is with the bumpers - trace the body lines onto the bumpers and you'll see what I mean about how they don't match up. Note, the passenger side door was not shut all the way in these photo's; it's very noticeable in the rear end view shot.

2TONE82 -- those gaps are danged near perfect!!
The assembly manual says 3/16" to 1/4" is acceptable. 1/4" is fairly large. More than 1/4" could indicate problems. Post pics of what you find.
