steering column paint
I am looking at painting my steering column and wanted to know if anyone knows of any vendors who sell the right color for my interior. My interior is medium saddle. I have looked at several vendors and don't see any for this interior color. Has anyone had any luck with other vendors? Thanks.

If you search for the p/n on their website, leave out the dash (-), as in 601335.
I just talked to a sales rep at Mid America ... they call the product they sell ... 'paint', but it's more like a dye. They said it's mainly used for vinyl, carpet, etc. and it can be applied to metals, but is actually not a metal paint. I was told it will wear off quicker ... such as the area just below the key switch on the steering column.
If you want real metal paint, take a sample to your nearby automotive paint supply store and have them mix up a batch for you.

You want SEM automotive interior dye. Shoots like lacquer. As you have learned, the Medium Saddle color varies from year to year. Take a piece of your trim with you to the paint shop.
