I have a 77 corvette that I am replacing the interior on. I am getting new shift console side panels from Willcox. I need the plastic screw mounts. Mine are pretty well shot or are missing. I am not sure on other year vettes but on my 77 when you take the side panels off there are plastic inserts that are on the mounting tabs. Does anyone know where I can get some replacements?
Plus on the passenger side side panel up by your feet there is no mounting tab at all. Does anyone have some pictures of their interior that show how the passenger side panel mounts?
Ok, I found an answer to part of my questions. The plastic nuts are called anchor nuts and they are part number 343081 from Corvette Central. They cost $2.55 for a set of 4.
Now if I can figure out the piece that I am missing that holds it together up front by the radio bezel on the passager side.
Ok, after digging throught the assembly manual I found the bracket. Problem is I can not find any reference to it from places like Ecklers, Corvette central, or Zip products. The manual has it referenced as
Reinf - U/B Tunnel Console Frt RH part number 379970.
any clues where I can get one? Here is a picture. The bracket is in the red circle.
