My old Alpine stereo has finally died in my 80 and I need to replace it. Does anyone have any experience with Ken Harrison units? I will definitely not consider buying Custom Autosound Ive heard nothing but bad things about them. I dont want to cut the instrument panel or replace it.
Does anyone have an old style 2 shaft stereo cassette aftermarket unit they would want to sell?
Sorry, but I have to ask as to why bother??? leave the old one in there to cover the holes and discourage thieves......
mount a thumb drive USB player in the back, and index what you want from two buttons or some such arrangement from up front....nothing shows...maybe leave a USB cable from one of them new key fob things to the back amp, it slips down behind the seats.....
rip your CD's to the player.....50000000 hours of music....
Hello,
I have been researching this for a while recently, and I have decided that I am going with the Vintage Car Audio Model VCA-102. It looks a lot like the Auto custom sound, however they say its different, I have spoken with the via email so I am going to give them a shot, for 159.oo its worth a try. Here is a link I started a few weeks ago.
