It had supposedly sold last week for $169,000 (buy it now) to someone who has a history of buying china dolls and DVDs.
Now it is relisted with a higher "Buy it now"
I don't know what this joker is up to, maybe his missus has told him it has to go so he has put it "up for sale":ro fl:
"PLEASE NOTE THIS CORVETTE STINGRAY IS A ANNIVERSARY EDITION VERY RARE MODEL CORVETTE ONLY 25 OF THESE CORVETTE STINGRAY MODELS WERE MADE IN THE USA !!"
Hes probably just showing the ad to his wife saying: "look honey, I am trying to sell it like you told me but nobody is bidding! Too bad, I guess I need to keep it".
Note that he cannot actually tell his wife where the 400K really went (beer and chicks)
I don't have a blower or fancy red font so I will discount mine... I only have $350k invested in it. Tell you what, anyone want a side pipe C-3 for $145,000?
I was struck by the fact the the owner claims the car is Handicap Accessible... with SIDEPIPES!!! Would any of you who own a vette with sidepipes coment on whether your car is accessible for the handicapped?
G'day,
Well, I guess that proves that even Australia is not immune from *******. I live in Melbourne, some 900 km away from Sydney, but I've never heard of the car, and I'm sure I would have unless he's always kept it in his garage.
I too, was AMAZED to find out that there was a 1976 Anniversary model, and only 25 of them were made, but the line that tickled me was..."This car OWNS me $.......". Sounds like he's trying to say that the car is smarter than the owner, and he's probably right about that!
[QUOTE=aussiejohn;1568999171]G'day,

Yeah, he's an embarrassment to the rest of us aussies here. He certainly has his hand on it.
Now from what I understand, an investment is something you spend money on with the intent of it increasing in value. So this highly intellegent individual invested over $400,000 on a vehicle he is trying to sell for $200,000. Not a real wise investment on his part, wouldn't you say...
Advertised as having a sunroof, but pics obviously show a targa top (or T-top if I am just not seeing the T bar in the sh!tty pics). Looks like the rear fenders may have been flared as well. Massive enormous brute power!! 600hp without charger spinning, and somehow another 300-500 hp WITH supercharger...looks like I need to install one I guess. Gaps better than factory? Chev better snap this guy up, he's better than the guys that do it day in and day out.
G'day,
Well, I guess that proves that even Australia is not immune from *******.

At least he didn't come across as a pillow-biter. (reading his post was excruciating: all that redundant yelling and blurry images... going to take some tylenol now)
