Default 75 vert top pops up

anyone have suggestions my top will pop up on the rear deck if I go
over a bump.
not sure if it is the pin not catching the latch or really how to start
correcting it.
thanx

Start by lubricating the both latches and check to make sure they move freely. Usually the RH & LH adjustment rods to the latches slip out of adjustment, that's where I would start since you are able to latch it. The striker depth is adjustable, and the location of the latches on the lid is adjustable.

Did a couple of things on mine to address the problem.....I made sure the pins actually locked in place when I pushed the back of the top onto the rear deck. I also had to adjust one of the pins down a little to make sure it was locked. Also check the springs on the deck clamps to make sure they open and close freely....you may have to lube them a little - I used WD40 to keep them working freely.

Hope that helps.

One of my pins keeps unthreading itself and falls on the floor allowing the corner of the vert top to lift up. Even if your pin is not falling out like mine it could be backing out just a little thus not catching properly.
