Yes, It's worth it...
Side story,, I went to start the car Wednesday,, it ran and then slowly died. Then, i could start it, but it would die. Opened the line to pull the carb, that's funny, that looks like water, not gas. Pure water I'd say, at least 99%. Drained 2 gallons out, the first gallon was almost pure water, second was about 50%. Either the cap leaked during the last rain storm, or someone thought it would be funny to poison the 'Vette
. put in 4 bottles of Heet, added 10 gallons of premium, a bottle of gas treatment, and took the car out and Ran her for about an hour, had to set the idle at 3000 rpms, she would run and then try to sputter down,, etc. once she started running good, lowered the idle to 1500, and put her on the highway for some 45 to 70 mphs in third, and a 10 mile run.Driving back engine was smooth, responsive, brakes worked great, 6 months work there,, Steering was great on the high way and off, thanks GTR1999,, Stereo was booming with great lows thanks to the sub- thanks DB
, tires were great- thanks Firestone. About 5 compliments, looker girl gave me the thumbs up from a rustang... I love this Car, Man!!!!!

It is worth it....
The Friday before last I was running very low on gas and stopped at a smaller name gas station that I have gotten gas at before with no problems. As soon as I left the station and got less than a quarter mile down the road the car just slowly died. I coasted over to the side of the road and tried to start it to no avail. It acted like I had no gas when in fact I had just filled half the tank. I called my wife and had her bring a small container of gas so I could try and get gas flowing back into the carb. Sure enough after a few tries the gas came back up through the line and I was good to go. I stopped at a Pep Boys and picked up the STP Gas treatment, etc and then filledit with Premium from a major brand gas station. But later that day it happened again, and then later heading back home again. Finally I had to empty the entire contents of the tank which had a LOT of water in it, flushed the line out, replaced the fuel filter and with fresh "known to be" good gas back in I finally got it so it would run again. I then said what the heck and picked up a new chrome Holley 4 barrel carb and it was good to go like new

Stupid gas stations that think it's ok to not close when they run low or out of gas and instead add water to their tanks so they can stay open ... Grrrr ...
this stuff is so bad. It rust steel, pits aluminum ,and hardens rubber.
Another thing it does is retain water, I was told to use Stabil blue for marine use instead of red. There have been a few articles about this
in boating magazines imagine you put three hundred gallons of fuel
in your boat go out in the ocean then caput. The aviation industry is the only one not using 10% ethanol.

Stabil Blue....Good!
Effin liberals who think switching to ethanol will save our planet...stupid!
