Default ? cleaning trim rings

my question is anybody ever tried to bring the trim rings on the tires back to life and so what did you use or how do you polish stainless steel.
thanks for any help.

For this ...I use this



It`s a little expensive, but you just use a little on a clean rag

i use sos soap pads then metal polish then wax it must work pretty good because i have had 2 complete sets stolen in less than 6 months now i have rusty replacements ,noone wants them

I use Bon-Ami bar for all chrome (and chrome like stuff) and glass. It works like a champ. The bar is just like a bar of soap, but harder. You use a wet towel and rub the bar, then polish glass and all the chrome. Use a soft cloth

It works quite well, I even use it to clean and polish my aluminum valve covers and my ceramic coated headers and sidepipes.
