I want to replace the lower half of the plastic center console. Is the auto and 4spd the same part? I have never seen a lower console for a 4spd? I assume the 4spd shift pattern just covers the auto PRNDL side. Is this correct?

:"Note 1: Works For Both Manual And Automatic Transmission. Has Slot Cut
For Automatic Shift Indicator. If A Manual, Shift Indicator
Plate (#2238 Purchased Separately) Covers Slot.":
The four speed and the auto plates are the same.
The shift boot is the same.
The difference is on the 4 speed cars you had an indicator that covered the sloted hole where the lens went on the AT cars. (pictured below). This indicator will not come with the new plate.
AT cars used a lens, lens retainer and so on. . . Yeah, what he said. . . I'm sorry I did not read the post above before I posted!
