I have another thread posted as "Decals" but I guess its mostly about the poor customer service from vendors. Corvette Central has done it again. I ordered some decals and other small misc items and I just received one very small decal, along with their catalogs in a huge envelope. The decal is smaller than the shape of a cigarette package. The shipping was $7.99 and this was just so they could send their catalog. The rest of the items may or may not come. I had not used them for several years because of their customer service issues but I thought I would try them as this was a small order, but here we go again.
Does anyone know a vendor where I can get decals for a 79, mainly the brake booster and the door stckers.
Thanks.Sorry for the rant.........LT

Ecklers, Corvette America, Zip Products, Wilcox(better prices, but seems they don't have as many items as the other three) should have what you need. Shipping is generaly based on the cost of the item, so even if they hadn't sent the catalog, you would have paid thru the nose for shipping anyway. This is stinks...but it is what it is. You can request a catalog from any of there web sites and they will send you one for free.

Now when you say "door stickers"...you can most likely get the tire pressure sticker from any of the four, but the certification sticker with your VIN# and build date...you will have to go to Ebay for that one. Buy the sticker...(mine was about 25.00) and send them the info. They will print it using year era printers...or at least year era font. When you get it, it will be specific to your car, and look exactly like the one that was placed there by GM.

Just remember to take a pic of where the stickers were...so you know exactly where to put them back...(ask me how I know)...lol

Thanks for the info on the stickers. I looked on e bay just now and the only one I see is from VIP (corvette central) and they dont type the info. Maybe Im looking in the wrong place.
I remember some time ago a thread talking about a company found on e bay who did these stickers but cant find that thread.
