Default Aftermarket Wheels, lets see them

I am looking at 17in rims for my 75. Im looking for something that doesnt look too modern. I was thinking about Torq Thrusts, Cragars, or Pro stars but I would like to see what other people have done. I havent really made up my mind yet but whatever it is I will have to get them custom made to fit my front end so I need a company that will do that for me.

Sorry if this is a repost, but I didnt feel like going through days worth of people's pictures

15" Halibrand 5-spokes. I considered 17"ers, but I prefer the vintage 15" wheel look on chrome bumper cars. The 17" wheels do look nice on the '74 and later C3s.

For what it's worth there has been a lot of discussion of late on the www.pro-touring.com forum about American Racing. It seems they have moved their manufacturing off shore (China) and now there is time delay as well as quality issues. If you're considering TTIIs you may want to take a look at Vintage Wheel Works. They offer the same styles and while they are a little higher priced their quality and customer service it top notch. Here's the link http://www.vintagewheelworks.com/products/wheels

I know somebody makes an origional looking wheel in 17" and maybe 18" with the beauty ring and centre cap. I had them in my "bookmarks" a couple years ago, til my computer crashed.

WOW That has to be the BEST looking '73 I've seen. 17's on the front and 18's on the rear look GREAT. What size tires are you running?

I agree with you. This thing looks killer! It's not just the wheel and tire size here. The lowered stance really sets this car off. Low profile tires and wheels look ten times better on lowered cars. In my opinion, the wheel and tire have to fill the wheel well, if it doesn't, it looks like your math was off putting the car together.
