Default Bowling Green Corvette Museum

Live in Washington State and touring as much of the USA as possible in our motor home. Just learned from my nephew in Atlanta that Bowling Green has the Corvette museum. We will, weather permitting, visit the musuem, anyone have input on what we will see?

I was at the musuem 2/14/09. They've done a lot on the new expansion, but still have a lot of work to do. They hope to have everything finished by the end of May.

The assembly plant has reopened. If you want to tour the plant, contact the plant in advance and make the required reservations. They do not accept walk-up guests any more.

If you know when you are going to tour the plant, you can make your reservations on-line ahead of time. Saves a lot of hassle.

Touring Nashville today, will drive to Bowling Green tomorrow and tour the corvette museum. Not able to obtain a reservation for a tour of the factory, keeps telling me "date is not available." Thanks to everyone for the info, appreciate it.

The plant is across the road from the museum (same exit off I-65). Go by the plant first and see about a tour, the mosie over to the museum.

Toured the National Corvette museum yesterday and enjoyed what we saw. The facility is under a remodel but still worth the visit. Across the street a gentleman has a nice collection of vintage vehicles for sale, we enjoyed that tour also, but not able to tour the Corvette factory. Thanks to all for their input.
